3. PUBLIC MEETINGS
(a) Proposed Official Plan Amendment to change the
designation of lands in Part Lots 15 and 16,
Concession 1, former Town of Bowmanville from
"Low Density Residential" to permit the
development of a Local Central Area and an
increase to the neighbourhood population target
through the expansion of the existing Medium Density
symbols.
Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the
zone category of specific areas of the Draft Approved
Plan of Subdivision 18T-88046 to permit the
development of a 5500 m2 commercial floor space,
117 townhouse units and 160 apartment units producing
an additional 255 units to the Draft Approved Plan.
In addition, the application proposes to re-align
zoning boundaries in the school block to reflect
previous revisions to the plan.

(b) Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the zone
category of a 0.418 hectare parcel of land in
Part Lot 28, Concession 1, former Township of Clarke
(386 Mill St., Newcastle Village) from "Urban
Residential Exception R1-3" to an appropriate zone
to permit the establishment of the following: a Day
Nursery, Medical or Dental Clinic, an assembly hall and
business, professional and administrative offices.
