PUBLIC MEETINGS
(a) Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the zone category of
42 hectares of land comprising of an Ontario Hydro Transmission
Corridor north of Westside Marsh and a portion of the Bowmanville
Marsh from "Extractive Industrial Exception (M3-1) Zone" and
"Agricultural (A) Zone" to "Environmental Protection (EP) Zone" to
implement the Principles of Understanding between the Municipality
of Clarington and Blue Circle Inc. regarding the recommendations of
the Waterfront Regeneration Trust's Report on Westside Marsh.
Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the zone category of
39 hectares of the Westside Marsh from "Extractive Industrial Exception
(M3-1) Zone" to "Environmental Protection (EP) Zone" to implement the
Principles of Understanding between the Municipality of Clarington and
Blue Circle Inc. regarding the recommendations of the Waterfront

(b) Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment submitted by Robert Owen to change
the zone category of 1.94 hectare parcel of land located in Part Lot 29,
Concession 2, former Township of Darlington from "Special Purpose
Commercial Exception (C5-5) Zone" and "Holding-Urban Residential Type
One (H(R1)) Zone" to an appropriate zone to permit the expansion of the
existing motor vehicle sales establishment and to limit permitted uses on
lands owned by the applicant to a motor vehicle sales establishment.
