the Corporation or any .portion thereof forms a part, may,
after the expiration of five gears from the date on which
the customer commenced to take and ues electric er~ergq
thereunder, give notice in writing of his desire to be
relieved of the said contract, and thereupon such contract
shall terminate after the expiration of one year from the
date of such notice.

Clause ~. hereof, all such contracts shall remain in force
in accordance with their orig nil terms.
3. This By-law eha~.l not apply-
(a) until after the repayment in full of ax~y
loan obtained by the customer under The Rural Pow®r District
Loans Act, being ~0 ~teorge V, cap. 14S
{b) to #$uarantes' aontraats, which where ®ntered
into by the customer ftrr .the purpose of making gusr~-tess
to .make possible the building or extension of any transmission

line in Rural P~xer t3ietrat~
{e) where the customer bas taken eleetria power
or energy thereunder .far less than rive years-;
(d) where. the customer desiring to be relia4ed
is in default for any sum or sums payable under hie. aQntraat,
whether the same became due prior to or subseQuent to the
giving of the notice provided far in Clause 1.
4. The Commission ae trustee for the Munia3pal
Corporation is hereby authoris~ed.snd empowered to do all
such acts, matters and things on behalf a~ the Cdrporat3oa _-
which may be necessary to give effect to the arovisians
and intent of this ey-law, and doing of anq suah eats,
matters and things shall not b® deemed in anq way a breach
by the~Commission of the provisions of the hereinbefore
recited agreement between the Corporation and the Commission,

5. This By«lar~ eha13 come into force in any
Rural Power District of which the Corporation or any portion
thereof forms a part, only upon the pawing of similar
By-laws by all of the, ~dunioipal Corporations v3hioh in whole
or in part comprise th® partioula~r Rural Poarer *L~strict.
