TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
To: Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:
Please find attached letter dated February 9 1981 from the
Kawartha Springer Club asking permission to conduct English
Springer Field Trials at the Kendal Recreation Area on the
weekends of May 9 and 10 and November 7 and 8 1981. Also attached
is a copy of the Ministry of National Resources concurrence.
These trials have been conducted for a number of years with the
• approval of former councils, and it is recommended that the letter
dated February 9 1981 from the Kawartha Springer Club be received
and permission granted to conduct an English Springer Field Trial
at the Kendal Recreation Area on the weekends of May 9 and 10 and
November 7 and 8 1981 subject to the conditions detailed in the
letter from the Ministry of Natural Resources dated February 5 1981.

grounds with regards to litter and to make arrangements with
the local Village of Kendal regarding the restricting of
firearm discharge on Sunday.
