HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-111THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW 2010-111 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at this special meeting held on the 7th day of September, 2011 WHEREAS Part 1, Section 11 of The Municipal Act, 2001, states that a municipality may pass by-laws respecting matters which are within the spheres of jurisdiction approved by the Province; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The actions of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at this special meeting held on the 7th day of September, 2010, in respect of each recommendation contained in the report of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed and other action taken by the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at this meeting, is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all such proceedings were expressly embodied in this by-law. The Mayor and proper officials of the Municipality of Clarington are hereby authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to the actions of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington referred to in the preceding section hereof. The Mayor and Municipal Clerk are authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thereto the seal of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington. That Subsection 5 of Section 50 of the Planning Act shall not apply to those lands described in paragraph 2 within the By-law. 2.
