Duh~:rn iNHEREAS The Highway Improvement Act, Chapter 5'6, R.S0., 1937 and amendments requires that the total expenditure on township roads and bridges be provided for annually by to~rnshig by-law. THEREFORE the council of the corporation of the said township enacts as follows: 14.000 ~(1) The sum of ~ is hereby appropriated fra~m monies raised by levy and government subsidy for total expenditure up6n ,... ~~ main- tenance of the roads in the. said township during the year ~:9 44 as follows: Machinery ~ ~_nnn Superintendence ~ ~3C)1) Maintenance & Repair~~ 11.200 14.OU0 Total Estimated Fxpenditure.._.~p (2) The said monies shall be expended under the direction of the duly appointed township road superintendent and on work performed in accordance with the. latest` regulations respecting township roads issued by the Department of Highways of Ontario. (3) The clerk shall transmit a copy of this. by-law to .the Municipal Roads Branch, Department of Highways, for approval on or before February 28th of the present year.
