of CIarke for the year 1947.
The ~anicipal Council of tY~e Co xporati on of the Township
of Clarke enacts as follows:
That the several rates herein mentioned be levied, assessed
and collected on the rateable property in the To~~nship of Clarke
for the year 1947 and the s everal rates shall be levied, collecte<
and paid to the proper officer of the T~Z.nicipality in the manner
and at such times as the statutes of the Province o,nd the by-laws
of the Corporation require.
Provided, however, that on all taxes remaining unpaid after
the fifteenth day of December next an additional charge of two
percent for nonpayment shall beadded and paid by way of penalty.
FIRST
rate to be levied 'for County Purposes for the year 1947
of 14.2 mills made up of County rate 12.5 mills and County School
rate of l07 mills on the dollar.
SECOr~D
rate to be 1 evi ed for To~mship purposes for the year 1947
of /y'y-~ mills on the dollar which by reason of the Provincial
subsidy provided by the h~unicipal Subsidy Act ~,s reduced by one

TAI RD
A rate to be levied for Township School purposes for the
year 1947 as per Bill 190 cited in theConsolidated Public Act
1920 and amendments thereto of 6.3 mills on the dollar.
FOURTH
A rote to be levied for Bowmanville memorial I~ospital as
per By-law TTo. 1135 of one mill on the dollar.

A rate to be levied for Ganaraska ~Fatershed purposes of
