for the year 1948.
The tltunicipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Clarke enacts as follows:
That the several rates herein mentioned be levied, assessed and
collected on the rateable property in the Township of Clarke for the
year 1948 and the several rates shall be levied, collected and paid
to the proper officer of the ~inicipality in the manner and at such
times as the Statutes of the Provi.nee of Ontario and the By-laws of
the Corporation require.
Provided however that on all taxes remaining unpaid after the lift
t°eenth:day of December next an additional charge of two percent for
non-payment shall be .added and paid by way of penalty.
FIRST.
~~ rate to be levied for County purposes for the year 1948 of
14.'~ mills made up of County Rate 12.5 mill and County School Rate
of 2.2 mills on the dollar.
SECOND.
"-'~ rate to be levied for Township purposes for the year 1948
of ~~ mills on the dollar whioh by reason of the Provincial Subsidy
Act is reduced by one mill on the dollar.
THIRD.
A rate to be levied for Township ,Schooy purposes for the year
1948 as per Bill 190 cited in the Consolidated Public School Act
1920 and amendments thereto of 6 mills on the dollar.
Fourth.
-""-'A rate to be levied for Bowmasiville Memorial Hospital as per
By-law 1135 of one mill on the dollar.
FIFTH.
A rate to be levied for Ganaraska ti~atershe~ purposes of
.'7 mills on the dollar.
