WHEREAS S®ction 38$, subsection (1) pare 91b of ~'he
Municipal Act, being Chapter 243 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario,
1950,provides that by-laws may be passed by the councils of local
municipalities for licensing trailers, as defined in paragraph 91a
of Section 388 as aforesaid, located in the municipality, except in
a trailer camp, for 30 days or longer in any year and for prohibit-
ing such trailers being located in the municipality except in a
trailer Damp, without a license therefor;

AND WHEREAS it is deemed eapedfent and desirable to make
provision for the licensing of such trailers in the Township
of Clarke
THEREFORE the Counoil of the Corporation of the Township
of Clarke, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Every trailer located in the Township of Clarke, ezcept in
a trailer Damp, shall be licensed under this by-law and no trailer
shall be located within the municipality for a period exceeding
30 days unless a license has been obtained.
2. License fees shall be charged for every month or portion of
a month that the trailer is located in the municipality and the license
fees, except for the first 30 days shall. be payable in advance.
3. The license Pes for each trailer shall be X10.00 per month.
4. The rental fee for each trailer, being considered by Council
as a good trailer, which has been located in this municipality for
at least one year, shall be 100.00 per annum payable in advance.
5. A trailer when located in the municipality only for the
purpose of sale or storage shall not be required to be licensed
under this by-law.
6. Any person who contravenes any oP the provisions of this
by-law shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceed-
ing Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), exclusive of dusts
That every other by-law relating to licensing trailers except
trailers located in a trailer Damp for this Township be and hereby
are repealed.
