DESIGNATING THROIIGH HIGHWAYS W~EAS Clause 33 of Subsection 1 of Section 1 of The Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 202) provides that: - "through highway" means arty highway or part of a highway designated as such by the Minister or by by-law of a municipality approved by the Ministry and every such highway shall be marked by a atop sign or yield right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry. NOW TSE.'REF08E the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of The Township of Clarke enacts ae follows:- 1. The following highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of The Township of Clarke are designated as through highways:- Name of Highway - that part of the road allowance between concessions 6 and 7 From - the east side of Leskard $oad To - the west side of King's Highway #35 and 115 2. The designation in Section 1 of this by-law of a highway or part of a highway as a through highway shall not include arty intersection thereon where the road intersected is a King's Highway, or where traffic control signals are installed. 3. The penalties provided in Section 152 of The Highway Traffic Act shall apply to offences against this by-law. la.. This by-law shall not become effective until approved by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
