WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Clarke deems it advisable to amend By-Law Number 1653, as amended.
NOW T~'REFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Clarke ENACTS as followss
1. That Map 2 of Schedule "A" to By-Law Number 1653 be amended
by changing to "M1-1" the zone symbol of lands so desig-
nated on Schedule "Y" attached hereto.
2. That Section 8 of By-Law Number 1653 be amended by adding
thereto the following subsection 3:
"8(3)" SPECIAL PROVISIONS
(a) Newtouville road M1.-1

Notwithstanding any other provisions of By-Law
No. 1653 to the contrary, lands zoned "M1-1"
on Map 2 of Schedule "A" and shown on Schedule
"Y" attached hereto, shall be used for no other
purpose than an industrial building, subject
to the following provisions:
(i) That no more than 10,000 gallons of water
per day shall be taken from any lake,
stream, well or reservoir;
(ii) That no water taken from arty lake, stream,
well or reservoir and utilized in any way
in the manufacturing process, shall be dis-
charged in such manner that it flows outside
the boundary of the said lands, either above
or below ground level:
(iii) That any privately awned sewage disposal
system does not discharge effluent in such
manner that it flows outside the boundary
of the said lands, either above or below
ground level;
(iv) The number of persons employed on the said
land shall be in accordance with the reg`
ulations of, and subject to the approval of,
the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District
Health IInit.
3. This By-Law shall become effective on the date hereof sub3ect
to receiving the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
