WHEREAS the necessary authority is provided in The
Assessment Act, Chapter 23, R. S. 0. 1960;
NOW THEREFORE, The Council of the Corporation of
The Township of Clarke ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Where the sum of the taxes for which any person is
chargeable in any year for municipal, school, local
improvement and other purposes, upon any real property
assessed in one parcel to the same owner would according
to the assessment thereon be less than ~6, the sum of
such taxes shall be deemed to be ~6 and shall be so
entered on the collectorts roll, and the difference
between the sum that would have been entered but for
this section and the sum of ~6 shall form part of
the general funds of the municipality.
This By•Law shall come into force and take effect
immediately upon the final passing thereof.
