Subject: CONSTRIICTION OF A SANITARY FORCEMAIN ON WILMOT CREEK DRIVE
Recommendetlons:
It is respectfully recommended that the General-Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-16-94 be received;
2. THAT .Ridge Pine Park be granted permission to construct a
sanitary sewer forcemain, on. Wilmot Creek Drive, as
illustrated on Attachment No. 1 to Report WD-16-94, subject to
Ridge Pine Park entering into an agreement, satisfactory to
the Director of Public Works and the Solicitor, to provide for
such matters as maintenance and liability; and
3. THAT Mr. David Rice and. Mr. Clifford Curtis be advised of
Council's decision.

2.0 BACKGROUND
2.1 Ridge Pine Park is proposing to construct a sanitary sewer
forcemain, a sanitary sewer and a watermain on Wilmot Creek.
Drive, Bennett Road and Lake Road. The purpose of the works
is to provide service to proposed development at the west end
of the Wilmot Creek Development.

3.0 REVIEW AND COMMENT
3.1 The: Region of Durham will assume all of. the works with the
exception of the sanitary sewage forcemain, which is
illustrated on Attachment No. 1.
3.2 Since maintenance of the forcemain will be the responsibility
of Ridge Pine Park, it will be necessary for Ridge ,Pine Park
to enter into an agreement with the Municipality to provide
for such matters as maintenance and liability.

THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 94-
Being a By-law to authorize the execution of
an Agreement between the Corporation of The
Municipality of Clarington and Pine Ridge
Park.
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on
behalf of The Corporation of The Municipality of Clarington
and seal with The Corporation's seal, an agreement between
Pine Ridge Park and the Municipality.
2. THAT the agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" forms part
of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 14th day of March, 1994.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 14th day of March,
1994.
