The Couneil of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarke enacts as follows: DEFINITIONS For the purpose of this by~laws- Park means the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, ot~rwise than temporarily for the purpose of end while actually engaged in loading or unloading. Street or Hi hw includes a common or public highway, street, avenue, pardriveway, square, place, bridge, viaduct or trestle, designed and intended for, or used by, the general public for the passage of vehicles. Vehicle means every 8evice in, upon or by which any person or properly is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, except devices moved by human power. B~THOD OF PARKING No person shall park a vehicle on any street other than a one-way street unless on the right hand side of the street, having regard for the direction in which the vehicle had been proceeding and unless the right front and right rear wheels or runners of the vehicle are parallel to and distant respectively not more than sic inches from the edge of the roadway. PARKING RESTRICTIONS lAhen Mosport Limited are charging admission during racing events; and when properly worded signs have bean erected and are on display, no person shall park a vehicle on the highways or parts of highways hereinafter set out in Column 1 for a longer period of time than that set out in Column 2:- Column 1 Colin 2 The municipal roads of the No parking Township of Clarke a83acent to the north and east boundaries of that property owned by Mosport Limited. PENALTY Any person violating any of the provisions of this by-slaw shall be sub~eat to a penalty of not more than Ten Dollars 0 10.00) for the first offence and not more than Fifty Dollars 030.00) for every subsequent offence, exclusive of costs, end all such penalties shall be recoverable under the Ontario Summary Convictions Act. This bylaw shall not become effective until approved by the Department of Transport and shall remain in operation up to and including September 30, 1961.
