sidewalks, boulevard sodding and street trees, a storm
drainage system and street lights, hereinafter referred to as
the 'Works'.
2.2 The subdivision agreement provides for the separation of the
Works into four (4) stages:
(a) Initial Works;
(b) Street Liahtina Svstem;
(c) Final Works; and
(d) Stormwater Management Svstem.
2.3 The Initial Works and Street Liahtina Works were issued
'Certificates of Completion' and subsequent 'Certificates of
Acceptance' by the Director of Public Works, as per the
maintenance requirements set out in the Subdivision Agreement.
2.4 The final Works were issued a 'Certificate of Completion'
dated October 12, 1995, by the Director of Public Works. This
initiated a one (1) year maintenance period which expired on
October 12, 1996. The Works have been reinspected and all
deficiencies have now been rectified to the satisfaction of
the Director of Public Works.
2.5 It is now appropriate to issue a 'Certificate of Acceptance'
for the Final Works. The subdivision agreement requires
Council approval prior to the issuance of any 'Acceptance
Certificate' for Final Works.
2.6 Further to the issuance of a 'Certificate of Acceptance', a
by-law is required to permit the Municipality to assume
certain streets within Plan 40M-1740 as public highway
