Subject: FENCE-VIEWERS' AWARD
COMMON BOUNDARY BETWEEN 3TUART PARK AND KATHERINE NOORDMAN
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report WD-37-96 be received;
2. THAT the Municipality of Clarington pay $1,008.48 (50g of
$2,017.00) to Katherine Noordman in accordance with the Fence-
Viewers' Award (Attachment No. 2), FORTHWITH; and
3. THAT the funds be obtained from the Community Services Lot
Levy Account No. 1110-156-X.

2.0 .BACKGROUND
2.1 Owner's Request for Feace-Viewers' Award (Disvute)
The Fence-Viewers were called upon by Katherine Noordman to
view and arbitrate for the purposes of settling a dispute over.

Municipality, specifically Plan lOM-807, Part Block 75
(Attachment No. 1).
2.2 Fence-Viewers' Award
The Fence-Viewers ruled that the cost of the prescribed fence
would be shared 50/50 (Attachment No. 2). The estimated cost
of the fence is $2,017.00 (Attachment No. 3) The
Municipality's share, at 50%, is $1,008.48 ($942.50 plus
$65.98 G.S.T.).
3.0 CONCLUSION
3.1 The fence has been erected in accordance with the description
of fence prescribed by the Fence-Viewers and it is appropriate
to pay the share owed by the Municipality.
It is, therefore, recommended that a cheque in the amount of
$1,008.48 be issued to Katherine Noordman, FORTHWITH, and the
funds be obtained from the Community Services Lot Levy Account
No. 1110-156-X.
