BY-LAW NO. 2009-148
Being a By-law to authorize the execution of Minutes of Settlement between Brookfield
Homes (Ontario) Limited (Brookfield), Building Industry and Land Development
Association (BILD), Players Business Park Ltd. (Players), Smooth Run Developments
Inc. (Smooth Run), West Diamond Properties Inc., and the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington (the Municipality)
WHEREAS Council has received a memorandum from the Municipal Solicitor
recommending approval of Minutes of Settlement of the Appeal to the Ontario Municipal
Board (OMB) by Brookhill Homes (Ontario) Limited, BILD, Players Business Park Ltd.,
Smooth Run Developments Inc. and West Diamond Properties Inc. of the Municipality
of Clarington's Development Charges Amendment By-law 2008-104
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Mayor and Municipal Clerk on behalf of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington are authorized to execute Minutes of Settlement between the Municipality of
Clarington and Brookfield Homes (Ontario) Limited (Brookfield), Building Industry and
Land Development Association (BILD), Players Business Park Ltd. (Players), Smooth
Run Developments Inc. (Smooth Run), West Diamond Properties Inc.
BY-LAW read a first time this 26th day of October, 2009.
BY-LAW read a second time this 26th day of October, 2009.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 26th day of October, 2009.
