Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following is a report of a meeting of the Community Services Committee
held on Monday, February 16, 1976 at 8 p.m. in the Newcastle. Community Hall.
I. Newcastle Community Hall Board Accounts
It was recommended to Council that the accounts for the Newcastle Community'Hall
be handled by the Hall Board, subject to the approval of Council and the Town's
Auditing Firm,
2, Appointment of Boards and Committees
That Boards and Committees, as per attached list, be appointed for 197¢.
3. Brine Pipes, Bowmanville Arena
That it be recommended to Council that the tender from Cimco for Brine Pipes at
the Bowmanville Arena in the amount of $35,750. be accepted and $40,000, be

provided in the Capital Budget but handled from current funds, if possible, f ("i'h-

4. Visual Inspection - Arenas
That the Recreation Director bring back prices for visual inspection of BgWpAnytile
Newcastle, Orono and Darlington Arenas and Orono and Newcastle Arenas be notified
that this will be charged from their Budgets.
5. Lifeguard Jerseys
That the Recreation Director's recommendation to charge $4.00 and the Town pay
.250, for 24 jerseys for lifeguards, be approved.
