Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following is a report of a meeting of the Community Services Committee
held on December 11, 1979:
1. Culture and Recreation Master Plan
It was recommended to Council that a Planning Team be established tos
develop Terms of Reference for a Culture and Recreation Master Plan
and to be Council's agent in the monitoring and evaluating of the Master
Plan and all inherent processes, all expenses to be incurred by the Planning
Team must be with teh approval of Council.
2. Planning Team
It was recommended to Council that the Planning Team be composed of:
1 member of _Council
2 Community Services Staff
1 Planning Department
6 citizens, selection to be determined by Council.
3. Ontario Recreation Society Conference
It was recommended to Council that the Deputy Director of Community Services
be authorized to attend the Ontario Recreation Society's Ninth Annual Conference
at the Sheraton Centre, Toronto, from January 23 to 26 inclusive, at an
estimated cost of $160.00 plus meals and accommodation.
