Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following is a report of the meeting of the Community Services Committee held
on Monday, April 24, 1978 in Court Room 112, Police and Fire Building, at 7 p.m.:
1. Water Damage, Visual ARts Centre
It was recommended to Council that the repair work for water damage at the
Visual Arts Centre be proceeded with as per estimate of Ashly 333 Company Limited,
dated April 19, 1978, at a cost of $301.75.
2. B.M.H.A. Garage Sale and Beer Garden
It was recommended to Council that the request of the B.M.H.A, to hold a Beer
Garden with their Garage Sale at the Darlington Sports Centre on May 13, 1978,
which was referred from the Council meeting of April 24, be accommodated at the
previously quoted fee of $125, for a Garage Sale and $220, for a Beer Garden but
if both are held on the same day, the fee be $220.
