Mayor Rickard and Members of Council2-
The following is a report of a meeting of the Community Services Committee
held in the Committee Room of the Bowmanville Town Hall on Mor. ay, January
30, 1978 at 7 p.m.;
1. Fire Department Pumper
It was recommended to Council that they proceed to call Tenders for the
Fire Pumper as per specifications presented by the Fire Chief.
2. Public Meeting - Village of Newcastle
It was recommended to Council that the necessary arrangements be made to
hold a Public Meeting in the former Village of Newcastle for the purpose
of electing two members to the Newcastle Community Hall Board and that the
meeting be held on Thursday, February 16, 1978 at 7:30 p.m.
(This recommendation was taken to the Council meeting on February 1, 1978).
