Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following is a report of a meeting of the Community Services Committee
held on Monday, December 19, 1977.
1. Senior Citizens Committee
It was recommended to Council that a Senior Citizens Ad Hoc Committee
be formed, that they develop their terms of reference, appoint a
Chairman and Secretary, consider proposals and make recommendations
to the Community Services Committee.
The Committee is formed for a three months' period in which time they
will hold a General Meeting of all Senior Citizens in the Town and
look at programs and facilities and prepare a report for Council.
A General meeting of all interested Senior Citizens will be held on
Monday, January 23, 1978 in St. John's Church at 2 p.m.
The Committee is composed as follows:
Chairman
Vice Chairman
and Secretary

Rev. T. Gracie
Mr. Peter Feddema
Mr. Wm. Bagnell
Rev. H. Kempling
Mr. Venning
Mr. G. Heath
Mrs. Margaret Shea
Mr. John VanderKooi
It was also recommended that ads be placed in the four local papers
regarding the General Meeting.
