Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the Community
Services Committee on October 6, 1975:
1. Tenders for Animal Control Truck
That the tenders for the Truck for the Animal Control be checked to the Tender
specifications by the Chairman and the Animal Control Officer, with power to act.
The Tenders were as follows:
MacDonald Ford, Bowmanville, Ford Econoline without trade $4,363.00
P.S.Tax 218.15
$4,581.15
Shelman Chevrolet Ltd. 215 Lakeshore Blvd. B. Toronto 1976 Ch=vrolet Suburban
$5,600.00

2. St. John Ambulance First Aid Class
That 8 Firemen be allowed to attend the St. John Ambulance First Aid Class
at the Fire Hall, Tuesday, October 14, 1975 at 7 p.m.
3. Radio Frequency
That Communications Canada be notified that owing to the Fire Department's
technical hook up, the Town wishes to retain its present radio frequency.
The cost of changing would be approximately $5,000.
4. Memorial Park Agreement
That Councillor Hobbs, Councillor Ailin and Mayor Rickard meet with the Memorial
Park Association regarding an agreement.
5, Bingo in Orono Hall
That the Pine Ridge Kinsmen be given permission to hold Bingo Games in the
Orono Hall.
