The following recommendations to Council were made
Services Committee on May 5, 1975:
at a meeting of the Community
1. Dos Licence Fees
That no action be taken to refund a portion of the dog licence fee paid for
female dogs prior to the passing of By-law 75-28 amending By-law 74.29.
2. Grants for Swimming Pools
That a letter be written to the Subsidies Branch advising them that the Town
wishes to submit applications for Community Centres Grants for two Swimming Pools.
3. Fire Hall - Courtice Area
That the Community Services Committee and the
location for a Fire Hall in the Courtice Area.
4. "No Parking" Signs - Mosport
Area Fire Chief look into a possible

That they concur with the recommendation of the Public Works Committee that the
erection of "no parking" signs on the roads adjacent=to•Mosport Park during the
time of the fireworks display on May 19, and the enfarcement.of "no parking"
regulations is considered to be impractical at this. time.
5. Lease re Tyrore Park
That the lease between Mrs. Phillips and the Tyrone Community Centres Board
re land adjacent to the Community Centre be received.for:information..
The other recommendations to Council contained in the Minutes "of.Colnmittee meeting
held on May 5, were approved by Council on May 5, 1975.
