Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the Community
Services Committee held on March 17, 1975:
1. Warble Fly Control
That the Warble Fly Control Program be continued for 1975 and the charges
be as follows:
Inspectors -
Sprayman
Truck & Man -
a $1.00 per lb. be
.40C per head or
$4.00 per hour
$4.00 per hour maximum
$7.50 per hour
charged for the powder
$5.00 per call for spraying.
2. Visual Arts Advisory Committee
That the Committee concur with the brief (attached) and support the
program outlined therein and it be presented to Council for their endorsement.
3. Sunday Sports By-law
That a copy of the attached letter regarding the By-law respecting Sunday
sports, from the Town Solicitor, be sent to the Ministerial Association for
their perusal.
4. Dog Licence By -Law
That Item 1. of the Report of the Community Services Committee meeting of
February 17th, which was referred back to the Committee be resubmitted to
Council and that Chairman A11in have available the fees which are charged
in surrounding municipalities.'
5. Playgrounds
That they concur with the recommendation of the Director of REcreation to
operate playgrounds in the following locations:
Ward 1
Tyrone Park
Hampton Public School
South Courtice Public School
North Courtice Public School
Ward 3
Kendal School
Newtonville School
Orono Park
Maple Grove School
Enniskillen School
Director to investigate the possibility
of a playground in the Zion, Solirra,,
Enfield Area.
Westview Heights - Village of Newcastle
Possibly'Brownsdale Recreation Centre.

6. Spring and Summer Registration Fees
That the following schedule of Fees for Registration for Spring and Summer
activities be adopted:
Baseball $4.00
Girls Softball $3.00
Soccer $5.00
Figure Skating
Carnival $1.00 - .50
Swimming Report to next meeting
Tennis Clinic $1.00
Flood Lights $6.00
Grass Cutting $8.50
Orono Park
,Swimming .-60c per person
Season Tickets - $6.00 single .$9.00 family, two children
1 $11.00 family, three or more children
��36 Season tickets not good on Sundays, single admission.
Picnics
$10.00 up to 100 persons - $20..00 over 100 persons., except on Sundays
Sunday Parking
$1.00 per car 75C for motor bikes
$4.00 'for a bus,
7. Boys. Club of Canada
That they concur with the request of Rev. W. Oake for the use of the Visual
Arts Centre, once a week, for Arts and Crafts for the Boys Club' of Canada.
8. Bill for Sr. Citizens -.Orono
That the bill from the Orono.Community Hall Board for meetings of Senior
Citizens, in the -amount of $100., be paid.
