Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the
Community Services Committee on November 4, 1974:
1. Arena Rates
That the following recommendations of the Director of Recreation be
adopted: Off Hours -• $20. per hour. Prime Hours - $26.00 per hour.
These rates to be effective on January .1st, 1975, in the Bowmanville
Arena and from the date of opening of the Darlington Sports Centre.
2. Ice Edger
That they concur with the purchase of an Ice Edger for the Darlington
Sports Centre at a cost of $379. plus tax.
3. Balance Wheel for Zamboni
That they concur with the purchase of a balance wheel for the Zamboni
Ice Surfacing Machine, Darlington Sports Centre, at a cost of $55.00.
4. Expense Money Country and Western Jamboree, Orono
That they approve of the stun of $140., expense money for the Country and
Western Jamboree in Orono.
