Mayor. Rickard and Members of Council:—
The following recommendations to Council were made at the meeting of the
. .
Community Services Committee on May 9, 1974:
1. Items for Recreation Department — That the request of Mr. T. A. Fanning
Director of Recreation, for maintenance items amounting to $147.13, be
approved.
2. Sign for Animal Control Truck — That the proper sign for the Town of
Newcastle be painted on the Animal Control Truck.
aanalELIEWtal.E_211a1 — That the proper drains be installed in the Floor
of the Lnimal Pound.
Fire Numbers — That Area Fire Chief Hayman order stickers with the new
Fire Numbers for inclusion with the next issue of tax bills.
5. Bowmanville Cemetery — That the Chairman and Clerk check into the procedures
necessary for opening up the remaining section of the Bowmanville Cemetery
• and report to the next meeting.
6.. Tyrone Community Centre Board — That the following people be named to the
Tyrone Community Centre Board, responsible to the Community Sorvices
Committee: Bernhard W. Heming, Mrs. Elva Byam, Grenville Byam, Otto Jost,
J. Terry Clifton,. Neil Newton, Ted. Skinner, John Virtue.
Gerry Taylor, John Wood, Mrs. Cecile Bowers, Mrs. Janet Herring
