HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-09-13 ReportReport No. 4 Mayor Rickard & Members of Council: The following is a report of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole held at 1:00 p.m. on September 13th, 1976 in the Committee Room at Bowmanville Town Hall. 1. ydro Boxes Waverley Gardens Mr. Sims the Town Solicitor was present to discuss the Townts position in relation to the hydro boxes in Waverley Gardens. THAT it be recommended to Council that the matter of hydro box placed on Mr, Delormets property be referred to the Developer through the Town Solicitor as it would appear to be the responsibility of the Developer. 2. Mr. & Mrs. Chatterton THAT it be recommended to Council that when a restriction is registered on title to the effect that the house will be built no further back than 170 feet from the lot line, that the Land Division Committee be advised that no Site Plan Agreement is necessary. 3. Woodlands Products, Newcastle THAT it be recommended to Council that the Mayor contact the owner of the property with a request that the maintenance of the property be with keeping of the surroundings and a copy of Mr. Best's report be sent to the owner. 4. Part Lot Control By -Law THAT it be recommended to Council that Council concur with the request from the Planner regarding a Part Lot Control By-law for the Hobbs Drive Townhouses and that the by-law be forwarded to Council for consideration. 5. Hamlet Studies THAT it be recommended to Council that Mr. Homing's brief be received for information and forwarded to various agencies for the secondary plan for the area of Tyrone is being considered and that no new development be sanctioned in any hamlet without a subdiVikoan plan in that Hamlet. 6,r' x,.,, ; 11 Committee of the Whole Report - 2 - S. Ontario Building Official's Association Conference THAT it be recommended to Council that the Chief Building Inspector and Building Inspector Dave Zachanowich be authorized to attend the conference of the Ontario Building Officials Association Conference from October 25th to October 29th, 1976 with the expenses being paid under the policy. 9. Scale of Development Charges THAT it be recommended to Council that Council concur with the letter dated August 26th, 1976 from the Town Solicitor and that the By -Law to establish a scale of development charges be submitted for Councils consideration.
