Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:
The following is a Report of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole held
at 1:00 p.m. on July 26th, 1976 in the Committee Room at BpSJmanville Town Hall: -
1. Mosport
It was recommended to Council that a Committee of Councillor Lyall, Councillo,
Entwisle, the Clerk and By -Law Enforcement Officer process the necessary By-Law
regarding Mosport and submit to Council.
2. Newcastle COmmunity Hall Repair
It was recommended to Council that the recommendation of Totten, Sims & Hubfcici
contained in their letter of July 16th, 1976 regarding masonry repairs to the
Newcastle Community Hall building be concurred with and the contract be awarded
to REM Construction Limited.
A, 3. Sy -Law No.. 75-48
It was recommended to Council that the Planner be instructed to prepare a letter to
Ontario Municipal Board for the approval of Council in reply to Mr. McAdams letter
regarding By -Law 75-48.

4. Planni Z Advisory Committee Report June 14th 1976
It was recommended to Council that the balance of the Planning Advisory Committee
Report of June 14th, 1976 be adopted i.e. Items 2, 3, 4, 5.
5. Sanitary Land Fill Conc 9 Lot 10 Darlington
It was recommended to Council that the letter dated July 15th, 1976 from Mr. T.J.
O'Malley regarding the Darlington Garbage Disposal Area be referred to the Regional
Works Department and Mr. O'Malley notified.
6. City of Oshawa By -Lam 87-76
It was recommended to Council that the City of Oshawa By -Law 87-76 be received for
information.
7. Planner's Report re Town of Newc �tle Planning Studies
It was recommended to Council that the Planner's Report dated July 13th, 1976 regardin
Town of Newcastle Planning Studies be concurred with. g
Note: This refers to the distribution and sale of copies of Volumes 1 and 2 of the
Town of Newcastle Planning Studies.
8. Appeal Committee of Adjustment Decision
It was recommended to Council that Council support the Planner's appeal against
Committee of Adjustment Decision A-6-76 R. & I. Patenaude and a Resolution be
presented to Council.

9. Taxi Driver's Licence
It was recommended to Council that the application for a permanent Taxi Driverjs
Licence of J.P. Van Heiningen be approved.
IN Visit of Rochester .7a tees
It was recommended to Council that the Mayor be requested to acknowledge the gifts
from the Mayor of Rochester and that a copy of "Between Triends" be purchased and
after being suitably inscribed with the Best Wishes of Council, be sent to the
Mayor of Rochester.
11. It was recommended to Council that the scroll and flag received from Rochester
be turned over to the Mayor for safe keeping.
12. MSAs
It was recommended to Council that Municipal Planning Consultants be commissioned to
process the maps of the Town in accordance with the funds in budget.
