HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-07-14 ReportReport No. 2 Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: The following recommendations were made by the Committee of the Whole at a meeting held in the Committee Room at Bowmanville Town Hall on Monday, July 14th, 1975 at 9:00 a.m.:- 1. E,A>B4O, Liaison Committee THAT the letter from the E.A.B.O, Liaison Committee be acknowledged and received for information and the Senior Building Inspector be advised, 2. Service of Informations I THAT the six informations, prepared by the Building Inspector, be turned over to the By -Law Enforcement Officer for service and the By -Law Enforcement Officer report to the next meeting what action has been taken, 3, Building Permit Fee Structure THAT it be recommended to Council that they concur with the report of the Chief Building Inspector that the fee structure for Building Permits remain the same. 4. Amendment to Building -Law THAT Council concur with the report of the Chief Building Inspector regarding amendments to the Building By-law relative to the needs for permits for re -roofing, siding, etc, /j 5, Larry Bradley Gravel Pit THAT Council concur with the Planner's Report regarding Larry Bradley Gravel Pit that the Ministry of Natural Resources be advised that approval for an increase in tonnage should be withheld at this time. 6. City of Orillia Resolution THAT It be recommended to Council that they concur with the Resolution from the City of Orillia regarding the repeal of The Bail Reform Act' and -the passing of new legislation to control firearms. 7e. Day Care Facility Name THAT it be recommended to Council that they investigate the possibility of naming the Day Care facility in Bowmanville after the late wife of Lord Thompson. 8, Site Plan Agreement Clerion Holdings THAT it be recommended to Council that they sign the Site Plan Agreement with Clarion Holdings, Block A, Plan 700, subject to Schedules being inserted and checked by the Staff, '- .� - 2 - Report No. 2 9. Deeth Ltd. Wincrest Farms THAT the Cleric report to the next Council meeting what action has been taken regarding the Town of Newcastle and Deeth Limited and Windcrest Farms - Industrial Lands. 10. Air Conditioner Inspection Service THAT Council concur with the proposal of the Oshawa Refrigeration Service Limited for two inspections annually of the Air Conditioning equipment in the Bowmanville Town Hall at a cost of $76.00 per year. 11. By -Law 75-4 THAT Council concur with the report of the Planner regarding By -Law 75-4. 12. Consumers Gas Agreement THAT Councillor Hobbs and Mr. McNeely examine the proposed Agreement with Consumers Gas making the changes they think necessary and present the amended agreement to Council.
