Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:
The following recommendations were made by the Committee of the Whole at a
meeting held in the Committee Room at Bowmanville Town Hall on Monday, June 9th,
1975 at 1:00 p.m.
1, Mr, Charles Galeo re Building Permit
THAT the Committee agree with the Chief Building Inspector's decision of not issuing
a Building Permit regarding Mr, Charles Galco's application to build a split level
home in Ward 1,
2, Committee of Adjustment Decision re Wrongly Staked out Houses
THAT Council do not appeal the Committee of Adjustment decision with regard to a
recommendation of the Chief Building Inspector to appeal a decision of the Commiittce
of Adjustment to allow a variance for houses wrongly staked out by Mr, Fleishian's
Company,
3, Beaucage Day Care Centre
THAT Mr, Howden's appeal to the Committee of Adjustment regarding the Beaucage
Day Care Centre be withdrawn, ( t'r
4e Regional Planning Official Plan Amendment - City of Oshawa Lot 1, Cone. 2
THAT the Mayor be authorised to interview on behalf of Council on consultation with
the Planner, subject to endorsation by Council at a future meeting, with regard jq..d„la-`
to letter dated May 5th, 1975 from Regional Planning Department relative to a
proposed amendment to the City of Oshawa Official Plan,
5, Regional Works Department re Land AcQuisition
THAT Council concur with the request of Regional Works Department contained in letter
dated May 16th, 1975 regarding the acquisition of part of a road allowance to locate a
pump house. I
