Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations were made to Council at a meeting of the
Committee of the Whole held in the Committee Room at Bowmanville Town Hall
on Monday, May 12th, 1975 at 1:00 p.m.:
1. John Liptay re Site Plan Agreement
THAT Mr. Howdents Report dated May 5th, 1975 regarding Mr, John Liptay's Reference
Plan, be received for information.
2. Mr. Merkle re Building Permit
THAT Mr. Merkle's application for building permit be referred to the Building
Inspector for processing.
3. Petition re Liberty Court
(a) THAT the tenants be notified of the contents of the Reports of the Building
Inspector, Fire Chief and Regional Health Unit.
(b) THAT the Planner be requested to prepare an amendment to the Official Plan
to provide for a Housing Standard By -Law.
4. Legal Action re DeKoker Meats, Derek Newman and Windsweep Farms 1965
THAT the Town Solicitor, Mr. McNeely, be directed to take all possible legal
measures to ensure that Windsweep Farms 1965, DeKoker Meats and Derek Newman
conform to all relevant by-laws and for agreements with the Town of Newcastle
and to report to the nest meeting of this Committee.

THAT Mr. John's letter dated April 7th, 1975 be received for information.
6. Taxi Drivers Licences
THAT Council concur with the issue of Taxi Drivers Licences for Maurice Flett
and Wayne Norrish.
