Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the
Committee of the Whole on March 10, 1975:
1. Beauvalley Estates Subdivision
That DM Consultants be advised that Council will not vouch for the
accuracy of press reports.
2. Deer Hunting Season
That Council concur with the proposal for a three day deer hunting
season as contained in a letter dated February 19, 1975 from the
Ministry of Natural Resources.
3. Bowmanville Town Hall Break and Entry
That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to take whatever steps are
necessary with regard to the basement windows as soon as possible.
4. Lovers Lane Land Severance
That the Town Solicitor be requested to represent the Town at the O.M.B.
Hearing on April 10, 19759 regarding the Town's objections to the
granting of a land severance on Lovers Lane and that the people who
objected be advised ofthe Hearing.
5. Courtice Concept Plan
That the Courtice Corcept Plan as produced by Murray V. Jones and
Associates be sold for the price of $7.00 per copy.
6. O.H.A.P. Studies
That the attached report of Councillor Entwisle on the O.H.A.P. Studies
be endorsed and forwarded to Council for implementation.
7. Meeting with Ministry of Housing
That a meeting be requested with the Ministry of Housing and the Mayor
and Chairman of the Planning Advisory Committee further explore the
position with regard to O.H.A.P.
