Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations were made at a meeting of the Committee
of the Whole held on Monday, February 10th, 1975 at 1:00 p.m.
1, Darlington Generating Station
THAT Mr, Strike be authorised.to hand over his files to Mr. McNeely and
Mr. McNeely represent the Town of Newcastle in this matter,
2e L,C,B4O, re Forum Tavern
THAT the letter dated February 3rd, 1975 from the Liquor Control Board of
Ontario regarding licence issued to the Forum Tavern be received for
information and a copy of Council's previous resolution and all correspondence
be referred to Mr, Alex Carruthers, M,P,P., advising him of deep concern
of Council because of the location of the tavern and also ask him for
his comments,
