SUBJECT: APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF A TILE DRAINAGE LOAN
MARGARET MEUNIER, (LOT 28, CONC. 9, DARLINGTON)
R. R. #2, BLACKSTOCK
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that Council approve the following:
1. That Report CD -35-85 be received; and
2. That the Tile Drainage Loan Application submitted by Mrs. Margaret
Meunier, R. R. #2, Blackstock, Ontario, LOB 1130, in the amount of
($5,900.00 be approved; and
3. That the Tile Drainage Debenturing By-law in the amount of
$5,900.00 be passed by Council; and
4. That the Clerk be authorized to make application to the Regional
Municipality of Durham for debenturing of the said Tile Drainage Loan.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Mrs. Meunier filed an application for a Tile Drainage Loan in the amount
of $15,000 (estimate only) on December 14th 1984. The works were completed
and all of the necessary documents filed with the appropriate departments.
The Inspection and Completion Certificate was completed on July 29, 1985,
following receipt of the land crossing agreement with the abutting land
owner. The final actual cost of the works was only $9,850.29, and based
upon the 60% factor, it is recommended that the loan in the amount of
$5,900 be. approved.

Further, it is recommended, that Council enact the necessary by-law and
authorize the Clerk to make application to the Region for debenturing.
