BY-LAW NUMBER 2000-132
being a by-law to authorize the release and surrender
of any interest of The Corporation of the Municipality
of Clarington in Part 9 on Reference Plan 40R-17774
WHEREAS at its meeting on September 25, 2000, Council of The Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington passed By-law No. 2000-131 declaring any interest of The
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington in Part 9 on Reference Plan 40R-17774 to
be surplus;
AND WHEREAS at its meeting on September 25, 2000, Council passed By-law No.
2000-130 to stop up and close Parts 7 and 9 on Reference Plan 40R-17774 as a public
highway;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The release and surrender by The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
to Blue Circle Canada Inc. of any interest of The Corporation of the Municipality
of Clarington in the land more particularly described as Part 9 on Reference Plan
40R-17774 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized on behalf of the Municipality to
execute and deliver documents to release and surrender any such interest in the
lands referred to in paragraph 1 to Blue Circle Canada Inc.
By-law read a first and second time this 25th day of September, 2000
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of September, 2000
