BY-LAW NUMBER 2000-129
Being a by-law to authorize the sale and transfer to
Blue Circle Canada Inc. of Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 on Reference Plan 40R-17775
WHEREAS at its meeting on September 25, 2000, Council of The Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington passed By-law No. 2000-128 declaring Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 on Reference Plan 40R-17775 to be surplus Property;
AND WHEREAS at its meeting on September 25, 2000, Council passed By-law No.
2000-127 to stop up and close Parts 12 and 13 as a public highway on Reference Plan
40R-17775;
AND WHEREAS at its meeting on September 25, 2000, Council passed By-law No.
2000-126 to stop up and close as a public highway Parts 1, 2 and 3 on Reference Plan
40R-17775;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The sale and transfer to Blue Circle Canada Inc. of the lands more particularly
described as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 on Reference
Plan 40R-17775 is hereby approved
2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized on behalf of the Municipality to
execute and deliver the transfer of the lands referred to in paragraph 1 of this By-
law to Blue Circle Canada Inc.
By-law read a first and second time this 251h day of September, 2000
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of September, 2000
