THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NO. 2008-097
being a By-law to authorize the execution of the
Second Amending Agreement to the Agreement between
the Municipality of Clarington, Claret Investments Ltd.
and 1361189 Ontario Limited dated June 24, 2002
WHEREAS at its regular meeting on June 9, 2008 Council approved a
memorandum from the Municipality's Solicitor dated June 3, 2008 which, among
other things, recommended approval of the Second Amending Agreement to the
Agreement between the Municipality of Clarington, Claret Investments Ltd. and
1361189 Ontario Limited dated June 24, 2002;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Council approves the Second Amending Agreement to the
Agreement between the Municipality of Clarington, Claret Investments Ltd.
and 1361189 Ontario Limited dated June 24, 2002 which is attached to
the memorandum from the Municipality's Solicitor to Council dated June 3,
2008.
2. That Council authorizes the Mayor and the Municipal Clerk on behalf of
the Municiplity of Clarington to execute the Second Amending Agreement
referred to in paragraph 1.
BY-LAW read a first time this 9th day of June, 2008
BY-LAW read a second time this 9th day of June, 2008
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 9th day of June, 2008
