BY-LAW 98-4
Being a By-law to appoint Fence Viewers for the
Municipality of Clarington and to repeal
By-law 95-4
WHEREAS Section 2 of the Line Fences Act Chapter L. 17, R.S.O. , 1990,
provides that the Council of every local Municipality shall, by by-law,
appoint such number of Fence Viewers as are required to carry out the
provisions of the Act and the by-law shall fix the per diem remuneration
to be paid to the Fence Viewers;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS :
1 . THAT the following persons are hereby
appointed as Fence Viewers for the
Municipality of Clarington for a term
concurrent with the term of the appointing
Council or until a successor is appointed:
Paul W. Jones
Glenn Smith
Glenn Stapleton
John M. Stewart
2 . THAT the remuneration of the Fence Viewers be set in
accordance with the budget allocations approved by
Council for this purpose.
3 . THAT By-law 95-4 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 12th day of January, 1998 .
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 12th day of January,
1998 .
