By-Law # Date: Report #: FD-5-98 File#: 10.12.6 Subject: MONTHLY FIRE REPORT - FEBRUARY, 1998 Recommendations: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: THAT Report FD-5-98 be received for information. 1. BACKGROUND 1 .1 Our report covers the month of February, 1998. It is our intent to provide Committee with information relevant to this department, in a timely manner. 2. REPORT 2.1 The department responded to 135 calls in February and recorded total fire loss at $116,500.00. A breakdown of the calls responded to follows. Continued..... REPORT 2.1 As indicated in previous reports, the defibrillator units were put in service on March 2, 1998 as targeted. Each fire station has a defibrillator on the pumper. Continued..... 902 . .
