MONTHLY FIRE REPORT - JANUARY, 1998
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
THAT Report FD-3-98 be received for information.
1. BACKGROUND
1.1 Our report covers the month of January, 1998. It is our intent to provide
Committee with information relevant to this department, in a timely manner.
2. REPORT
2.1 The department responded to 125 calls in January and recorded total fire loss at
$55,800.00. A breakdown of the calls responded to follows.

2. REPORT
2.1 Training for use of the defibrillators commenced in January. Full time and part-
time personnel will be fully trained and certified in defibrillator use by the end of
February. The department is on target for initiating use of the defibrillators on
March 1, 1998.
