"CARRIED" Resolution #C-002-02 Moved by Councillor Rowe, seconded by Councillor Pingle THAT the actions taken during the "closed" session of Council be ratified. "CARRIED" , . . . ~ Special Council Minutes -2- January 7, 2002 BY-LAWS Resolution #C-003-02 Moved by Councillor Schell, seconded by Councillor Trim THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 2002-001, being a by-law to authorize a purchase agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington and Frank and Jolene Ashmore, in respect to the purchase of a property at 1539 Prestonvale Road, being Part 1, Plan 40R-20849, Part Lot 33, Concession 2, former Township of Darlington, Municipality of Clarington, and that the said by-law be now read a first and second time. "CARRIED" CONFIRMING BY-LAW Resolution #C-005-02 Moved by Councillor Schell, seconded by Councillor Rowe THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 2002-002 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at this meeting held on the 7th day of January 2002, and that the said by-law be now read a first and second time.
