THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NUMBER 2007-222
being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to
execute an Option Agreement respecting the purchase by the
Municipality of a portion of 1685 Bloor Street, Courtice, Ontario,
as shown as Part 4 on Reference Plan 40R-25086 from Hope
Fellowship Christian Reformed Church
WHEREAS:
A. The Municipality's Directors of Engineering Services and Planning Services have
advised the representatives of Hope Fellowship Christian Reformed Church
("Church") that they intend to approve a site plan for the development of 1685
Bloor Street, Courtice, Ontario, subject to several conditions including the
condition that the Church enter into an Option Agreement with the Municipality to
grant to the Municipality the right to purchase for a nominal consideration a
portion of the land shown as Part 4 on Plan 40R-25086; and
B. The Church has agreed to execute the aforesaid Option Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
enacts as follows:
1. THAT the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are authorized to execute an Option
Agreement with Hope Fellowship Christian Reformed Church for a
nominal consideration on the terms and conditions set out in the Option
Agreement to grant to the Municipality the right to purchase a portion of
the land shown as Part 4 on Plan 40R-25086.
