THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTO�
BY-LAW 96-32
being a by-law to require the payment of fees for
information and services provided by the Municipality
of Clarington and for prescribing the amount of such
fees and to repeal By-laws 91-142 and 94-27
WHEREAS the Section 69 (1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990,
c. P. 13 , provides that by-laws may be passed by the Council of a
Municipality to prescribe a tariff of fees for the processing of
applications made in respect of planning matters;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington has adopted the recommendations contained within
Report #ADMIN-2-96 to adjust existing administrative fees and to
impose new administrative fees to recover costs incurred by the
Municipality in providing information and services :
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS :
1 . THAT the fee schedules attached hereto and forming part of
this by-law shall apply for the specified documents,
services, applications and inspections .
2 . THAT By-law 91-142 and By-law 94-27 are hereby repealed.
3 . THAT this by-law shall take effect February 1, 1996 .
By-law read a first and second time this 29th day of January
1996 .
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 29th day of
January 1996 .
