BY-LAW 96-26
being a by-law to amend By-law 78-50, as amended,
a by-law to regulate the holding of certain public
entertainments, festivals and parades within the
municipality
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington has adopted the recommendations contained within
Report #ADMIN-2-96 to adjust existing administrative fees and to
impose new administrative fees to recover costs incurred by the
Municipality in providing information and services :
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1 . THAT By-law 78-50, as amended, is further amended by
repealing Section 4 . thereof and replacing it with a new
Section 4 . as follows :
114 . The fee for licence under this By-law for any public
entertainment, parade or festival which is not held for
a charitable purpose, is three hundred and sixty
($360 . 00) dollars . "
2 . THAT this by-law shall take effect February 1, 1996 .
By-law read a first and second time this 29th day of January
1996 .
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 29th day of
January 1996 .
