THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 95-98
Being a By-law to appoint Carson Elliott as
the successor of Councillor John O'Toole as a
member of the Clarington Council for Ward 2
and a member of the Regional Council .
The CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1 . THAT Carson Elliott be appointed to fill the seat of
Councillor John O'Toole as a Councillor for Ward 2 on the
Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
for the unexpired portion of the term of office on that
Council of Councillor John O'Toole.
2 . THAT Carson Elliott be appointed the successor of Councillor
John O'Toole as a member of the Regional Council for the
unexpired portion of the term of office on that Council of
Councillor John O'Toole.
By-law read a first and second time this 10th day of July, 1995 .
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 10th day of July,
1995 .

RE: APPOINTMENT OF REGIONAL COUNCILLOR FOR WARD 2 -
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
This will advise that, at a special meeting held on July 10, 1995,
the following resolution was passed:
"THAT Carson Elliott be appointed to fill the vacant seats on
Clarington Council for Ward 2 and Regional Council . "
I also enclose three certified copies of By-law 95-98 being a
by-law to appoint Carson Elliott as the successor of
Councillor John O'Toole as a member of the Clarington Council for
Ward 2 and a member of the Regional Council .
Mr. Elliott also took the Oath of Office and the Oath of
Allegiance.
Will you please place this matter before your Council .
