I WHEREAS Subsection 5 of Section 29 of the Planning Act
'I' provides that a municipality may by by-law provide that Subsection 4
of Section 29 of the Planning Act does not apply to certain lands;

A by-law to provide that Subsection 4 of
Section 29 of the Planning Act does <,not
apply to certain lands in the Town of
Newcastle.
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle has
deemed it advisable to provide that Section 4 of Section 29 should
not apply to certain lands hereinafter described;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED as a
by-law of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle by the Council
thereof as follows;
1. That Subsection 4 of Section 29 of the Planning Act does not
apply to land that is within the registered plan of subdivision
or part thereof as set out in Schedule "A" to this by-law.

This by-law shall come into effect upon being approved by the
Minister of Housing and thereafter Subsection 4 of Section 29 of
the Planning Act as amended shall cease to apply to the lands
described in Schedule "A" hereto.

I 3. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this by-law.

Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being composed of
the whole of Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5),
Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8), Nine (9) Ten (10), Eleven (ll),
Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), Fifteen (15~, Sixteen (16), Seventeen
(17) and Eighteen (18) according to Registered Plan Number 58
