THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LA~.;r No. 78-17
a by-law to authorize the Mayor and the Clerk to execute an,
Agreement made between the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for a
Traffic Operations Study.
WHEREAS the Public Works CommUtee of the Town of Newcastle has submitted
to the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle a proposal for a Traffic Operations
Study to be carried out in the Town of Newcastle within former Bowmanville as
defined in the Terms of Reference;
AND WHEREAS the proposal has been amended to the satisfaction of the
Technical Co-ordinating Committee and the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to execute an Agreement between the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and the Ministry of Transportation and Comm-
unications for the undertaking of this Study;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor and the Clerk be, and they are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary Agreement to be made
between the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and
the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for
the Traffic Operations Study in the Town of Newcastle.
