THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 77-83
being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and the Clerk
to execute a deed conveying certain abutting lands
to Jack Jacobson.
WHEREAS the Town of Newcastle by By-Law No. 76-71 closed the highway
more particularly hereinafter described and authorized the sale thereof
to abutting owners;
AND WHEREAS the abutting owners of the property are Jack Jacobson,
to uses, Was-Co 1 Holdings Limited and Douglas J. PIitz;
AND WHEREAS Was-Col Holdings Limited and Douglas J. PIitz have been
given the first opportunity to acquire the said lands and have released
any right to such claim and directed that the lands be given in the name
of Jack Jacobson, to uses.
BE IT ENACTED THAT:
1. The highway being that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle,
in the Regional Municipality of Du~ham (formerly in the Townshir
of Darlington, in the County of Durh~~) and being composed of
part of Lot Number 20, in the lOth Concession of the said Town
of Newcastle (formerly in the said Township of Darlington)
and now designated as Part 3 on a Reference Plan filed in the
land Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10) as Number 10R-550,
be sold to Jack Jacobson, to uses, for the sum of $2,800.00
