THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW #

being a by-law to assume_ certain lands in
the Town of Newcastle for the purposes of
a public highway.
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle has acquired
the properties more particularly hereinafter described;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
advisable to assume the properties more particularly hereinafter
described as a public street;
BE IT ENACTED that the lands and premises situate, lying and
being in the Town of Newcastle, in the Regional Municipality of
Durham, being more particularly described as fo1lows:
FIRSTLY:
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of
land and premises situate, lying and being in the
Town of Newcastl~ in the Regional Municipality of
Durham and being composed of all that portion of
unsubdivided Lot 29, in the 5th Concession of the
geographic Township of Clarke, in the former Village
of Orono, westerly adjacent to Block J, according
to C.G. Hanning's Plan of the Village of Orono,
formerly in the County of Durham, now within the
limits of the said Town of Newcastle, more partic-
ularly designated as Part one (1) according to Plan
lOR-475.
SECONDLY:
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of
land and premises situate, lying and being in the
Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham,
Province of Ontario, and being composed of all that
portion of unsubdivided Lot twenty-nine (29) in the
Fifth Concession of the Geographic Township of Clarke
in the former Village of Orono, westerly adjacent to
Block J, according to C.G. Hanning's Plan of the
Village of Orono, formerly in the County of Durham,
now within the limits of the said Town of Newcastle,
more particularly designated as Part Two (2) accord-
ing to Plan lOR-475.
THIRDLY:
All those parcels or tracts of land in the Town of
Newcastle, in the Regional Municipality of Durham,
in the Province of Ontario, containing by admeasure-

ment 4.663 acres, be the same more or less, being
composed of those parts of Lots 29 and 30, Con-
cession V, as shown on the plan of the Township
of Clarke, designated as Parts 1, 3, 6, 7 and 8
on a plan and field notes of Lactation CL 2168
deposited in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10) as Plan
10R-760.
